FISHING REPORT

FRIDAY OCTOBER 11th, Sorry for the late report this week. First let me start with we will have new closing hours starting this Monday October 14 our hours will be 6am to 7pm. Now for the fishing report! There are still Salmon and Trout being caught in and around the harbors and piers. Almost everyday I’ve weighed at least 1 here in the shop. Still hitting spoons and crankbaits but a few starting to hit spawn sacs on a slip float. Northerns still in the mix. No Smallmouth reports this week. No perch to report. I’ve had a lot asking for Pier Passes, they are not available until November 15th so be patient we will have them on Nov.15th. Parking Passes are sold here please when purchasing have your 2024 fishing license out, have the license plate number of the car you will be using the parking pass with and $20 cash please. For those interested; the Chicago Fishing Advisory Committee is meeting this month on Tuesday October 22d at 7pm at the Corenthian Yacht Club at Montrose Harbor, it is the building right behind the bait shop. Hope to see some of you there. It is a great committee for the Chicago anglers to voice your concerns and opinions. As always call for your up to the minute report we tell it as we hear it.
