FISHING REPORT

Thursday Nov. 21,  With the change in weather, starting Monday November 25th we will start closing at 4pm. When the weather is bad like it was today we do close early so it’s best to call ahead. As of right now we plan to be open through the first weekend of December. If the weather and park district allow we will try to stay open longer. We are open on Thanksgiving day from 6am to noon. Steelhead still doing good in the harbors. They are hitting a variety of baits live and artificial. A few scattered Brown Trout but few and far in between. The few Kings that are still around are very dark and ready to die. Perch reports are scattered. Nice Crappie and Bluegill at Diversey on jigs with spikes or waxies. Smallmouth on the lake slow but the river action is good. As always call for your up to the minute report we tell it as we hear it!
