FISHING REPORT
Wednesday May 21st, We’ll it’s no secret the weather sux! A couple Coho still around the Horseshoe but definitely at the end here in our area. The ones that were caught last week were on Tinsel Jigs between 6 & 7 feet down. Perch season closed till June 16th. Smallmouth good when weather & winds permit, on a variety of live baits as well as artificial. We now have Nitro worms in stock which are a great bait for Smallmouth. Activity in the Chicago River has been good, Crappie, Carp, Bass, Bluegill etc..great baits to use; Night Crawlers/ RedWorms, Leaches, Wax Worms or Butter worms, minnows all sizes, spinners, jigs, lures etc….We now have live suckers in stock. Our hours are still 6am to 7pm 7 days a week. We will adjust them next week when the weather hopefully gets more seasonal. Get up! Get out! You can’t catch them from the couch!
