FISHING REPORT
Monday July 28th, Well here we are the end of July already. Where is the summer going? Sorry I missed a report last week the days just got by me. There have been some great Smallmouth days. They were hitting everything, large golden shiner minnows, live crayfish, leeches, worms as well as all the artificial baits, Ned rigs, GT360’s, tube and goby tubes, etc… Very few Perch to talk about. I don’t think they have left I just feel they are moving around and truthfully with this hot, stormy weather there really hasn’t been much fisherman activity. We do have Soft Shells back in stock that usually becomes the bait of choice as the water gets warm and they get harder to catch. Sheephead have been all over this year hitting all kinds of things. Crayfish, worms, lures etc….With the change in weather coming later this week they should get really active out on the Horseshoe. Lots of big Rock Bass. Remember if you are traveling and need to keep you minnows alive get them in our oxygen bag it keeps bait alive for 24+hours. Salmon season is right around the corner check us out for all the hot lures, new as well as the good old reliables, we have most of them! We also have great prices on all the equipment you will need to land that big one! If you don’t see something just ask we may have it elsewhere. As always call for you up to the minute report, we tell it as we hear it. Remember to get up and get out you can’t catch them from the couch!
