FISHING REPORT

Friday September 5th, our new hours are 6am to 8pm 7 days a week!

salmon have been pretty active this past week. Of Course some days better than others but for the most part a good start to the season. Quite a few caught, mostly king salmon (chinook), a few coho and Possibly a steelhead in the mix. So Far It’s Been Lures And Crankbaits. mostly in the dark hours so any glo lures such as moonshines, little cleos, reef runners, ko wobblers, etc… Average size has been 10 to 15 lbs. there have been a lot of hits and misses as well as quite a few Jumpers. It’s time to start using Bait such as spawn sacs, larger shiner minnows, shrimp, etc…on a rod with a slip bobber. Start jigging with maribu/hair jigs with wax worms for the steelhead too.

smallmouth reports have been scarce mostly Because anglers targeting salmon but those still fishing for smallmouth have done good. Plastics as well as live bait (leeches, nitro worms, crawlers, larger minnows).

a few perch around later in the day/early evening but not enough to really get excited about.

get up and get out you Can’t catch them from the couch! As always call for your up to the minute report we tell it as we hear it.
