FISHING REPORT

Saturday October 24th, how about This weather! Get out and enjoy it.

salmon are still around still hitting lures and Crank-baits. A lot are nearing the end and are getting dark but there are still some cleaner ones being caught too. Activity seems best from 6am to 10am.

steelhead/Rainbow trout are starting to pick up. They are hitting lures and maribu/hair jigs tipped with wax worms or butter worms as well as hitting baits on slip bobber set ups with spawn sacs/salmon eggs, large shiner minnows, night crawlers, etc….

nice northern pike in the mix.

no smallmouth or perch reports.

no chicago river report this week but it always has some kind of fishing activity.

brian (my husband) has been going to skokie lagoons and having a blast catching lots of small bluegill, some crappie and small northerns. He knows he can’t Catch em from our couch lol!

come on in grab some bait and get up and get out because life is short and you can’t catch em from the couch!
