FISHING REPORT

Tuesday August 11th, I feel like summer is just flying by but there is still plenty of summertime left!
lakefront fishing has been very spotty with These crazy storms passing by everyday! 🤦‍♀️

there were a few perch last week in the harbor but Definitely just a few. Hitting on shiner minnows or soft shells.

smallmouth are still being caught in and around the harbors. Plastics and live baits, large shiners, live crayfish, leeches, nitro worms, etc…

sheephead (freshwater drum) there have been alot this year. They mostly hit the live crayfish on a Bottom rig but have also been known to hit worms or even a lure.

Some nice northern pike have been caught in a few of the harbors. Large shiners, night crawlers or casting a spinner or lure. Also a few rock bass, carp, etc….

I have not had any reports of salmon here yet but it is still early. Water temps are still in the low 70s but have the Ability to drop fast with the right winds. joe has been out there trying so as soon as he lands that first 1 i will know, then you will know!
