FISHING REPORT

Tuesday June 9th, Sorry It’s been awhile for a report but at this time of the year i am busy with shop stuff and running for bait so the days just get by me. Remember you can always Call the shop for a report. Let me start with yes the live crayfish are in. We have a small size @9.95 per doz. and a medium Size @11.95 per doz. Perch season will open up in one more week on tuesday june 16th. Starting that day We Will Be Opening At 4am. the report on fishing is; smallmouth for the most part is still pretty good but like fish will do there have been some days they just Won’t bite. They are in and around the harbors on live bait as well as artificial. Lots of sheephead (freshwater drum) on the horseshoe and in the harbor on crayfish, shrimp and even some lures/plastics. We weighed one that was 13.5 lbs that was caught on a 3” keitech swimbait, pictured below. Quite a few big carp in the harbors also. A few big northerns that keep getting away. Some nice jumbo perch that have been caught while fishing for other fish. Summer has arrived and the kids are outta school so get up and get out don’t let summer pass you by. You can’t catch em from the couch! As always call for your up to the minute report! We tell it as we hear it!
