FISHING REPORT
TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 21st, CHINOOK FISHING IS STILL PRETTY STEADY UP AND DOWN THE LAKEFRONT. MOSTLY IN THE DARK BUT A FEW HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN THE DAYLIGHT HOURS. GLOW IN THE DARK SOOONS AND CRANKBAITS ARE WORKING BEST. BEST SPOONS TO USE ARE MOONSHINES, KO WOBBLERS AND LITTLE CLEOS. BEST CRANKBAITS ARE LIVINGSTONS, THUNDERSTICKS AND FLICKERSHADS. PERSONALLY HAVEN’T SEEN OR HEARD OF ANY TROUT BEING CAUGHT YET BUT THEY SHOULD BE STARTING ANY TIME SOON. TROUT CAN BE CAUGHT BY CASTING SPOONS ALSO BUT MOSTLY CAUGHT UNDER A SLIP BOBBER WITH SPAWN SACS, LARGER MINNOWS SUCH AS MED SHINERS (GOLDEN ROACH) NIGHT CRAWLERS, AND EVEN SHRIMP. THERE HAS BEEN A FEW NICE NORTHERNS CAUGHT WHILE CASTING FOR SALMON. THERE ARE STILL A FEW NICE SMALLMOUTH BEING CAUGHT HERE AND THERE ALSO.
