FISHING REPORT

Friday October 15th, Let me start with letting you know we’re  having a lot of phone issues due to AT&T having a big cable issue in our area that has been ongoing for months now. Sorry if you have called and haven’t gotten through. Last Sunday a lot of fish were caught in our area. Kings, Steelhead and even a few Coho. Haven’t heard much during the week due to the unstable weather, not many people were around fishing.  Kings were still mostly on spoons. Coho and Steelhead on large fatheads, medium roaches and spawn. Here is the info for the inland trout season which starts Saturday October 16th.

TROUT SEASON

Regular fall trout season opens Saturday, Oct. 16. Daily bag is five; those 16 and older need a fishing license and an inland trout stamp. Nearby sites include in Cook County (Axehead, Belleau, Busse North, Green, Horsetail, Sag Quarry East, Wolf), DuPage (Grove, Pickerel, Silver); Kankakee (Bird Park Quarry, Rock Creek); Kendall (Big Lake at Silver Springs SFWA); Lake (Sand Lake at Illinois Beach SP); McHenry (Spring Grove Hatchery Pond); Will (Lake Strini, Van Horn Woods).
