FISHING REPORT
WEDNESDAY JULY 6th, PERCH FISHING HAS SLOWED A BIT WITH THE CHANGING WEATHER AND WINDS, BUT THEY CAN STILL BE FOUND IF YOUR WILLING TO PUT IN A LITTLE TIME TO FIND EM. THE ONES THAT ARE BEING CAUGHT ARE STILL ON THE BIGGER SIDE. BAITS OF CHOICE ARE SOFT SHELL (CRABS) CRAYFISH, POND CRAYFISH, MINNOWS AND ARTIFICIAL LURES SUCH AS SHAD RAPS, SPINNERS OR KASTMASTERS SOME TIPPED WITH PIECE OF SOFTSHELL. SHEEPHEAD HAVE BEEN ACTIVE BUT WITH THE NEXT FEW DAYS OF NORTH/EAST WINDS THEY WILL BECOME MORE ACTIVE. SOFT SHELLS AND POND CRAYFISH (CRABS) ARE THE BAITS OF CHOICE FOR THEM. SMALLMOUTH STILL ACTIVE IN AND AROUND THE HARBORS MOSTLY ON THE BASIC ARTIFICIAL STUFF BUT SOME LIVE BAIT CAN BE USED TOO. GET UP, GET OUT AND GET FISHING!
