FISHING REPORT
TUESDAY DEC. 6th, OF COURSE PERCH ARE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST. SO FAR THE WINTER PERCH SEASON HAS BEEN REALLY GOOD UP AND DOWN THE LAKEFRONT. OF COURSE THERE CAN BE A SLOW TIME OF THE DAY OR EVEN A SLOW DAY BUT OVERALL ITS BEEN GOOD. THEY ARE HITTING ALL TYPES OF BAIT WITH MINNOWS LEADING THE WAY AS WELL AS WAX WORMS, SPIKES, SHRIMP, WORMS, ARTIFICIAL JIGGING SPOONS, ETC… TROUT STILL IN THE HARBORS ON SPAWN SACS, WAX WORMS ON HAIR OR TINSLE JIGS, CRAWLERS AND MEDIUM SHINERS. A FEW BROWN TROUT IN THE MIX NOW ON LURES. WE SHOULD BE OPEN HERE AT THE SHOP THROUGH SUNDAY DECEMBER 18th BARRING NO BIG CHANGES IN THE WEATHER. HOURS ARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 6AM TO 2PM SAT. & SUN. 6AM TO 4PM. WE ALSO HAVE OUR MOBILE VAN “PARKED BAIT” GOING TO 85th ST. ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY FROM ABOUT 6AM TO 8AM THEN MAKING A STOP AT NAVY PIER ABOUT 8:30/9:00 GIVE OR TAKE A FEW MINUTES HERE OR THERE. FISHING ON THE CHICAGO RIVER WALK HAS BEEN HOT TOO. ALL SPECIES OF FISH SUCH AS PERCH, CRAPPIE, BASS, ETC… GET OUT WHILE THE WEATHER IS STILL GOOD. AS ALWAYS CALL FOR YOUR UP TO THE MINUTE REPORT WE TELL IT AS WE HEAR IT.
