FISHING REPORT
THURSDAY APRIL 20th, WITH THE WEATHER GOING UP AND DOWN THE FISHING HAS BEEN DOING THE SAME. DURING THE NICER WEATHER THE COHO SLOWED A BIT BUT THERE WERE A FEW PERCH SHOWED UP THEN WEATHER CHANGED AND COHO WERE ON AGAIN. UNFORTUNATELY ITS A TIME OF YEAR THAT WILL BE UP & DOWN. WHEN COHO HITTING ITS ON PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING FROM LIVE BAIT SUCH AS MINNOWS & WORMS, JIGS TIPPED WITH WAX WORMS AS WELL AS CASTING LURES, CRANKBAITS AND SPINNERS. A FEW STEELHEAD AND BROWN TROUT BUT MOSTLY COHO. SMALLMOUTH ACTIVE AROUND ALL THE HARBORS. NO SMELT TO REPORT. THE FISHING ADVISORY COMMITTEE IS HAVING ITS MONTHLY MEETING THIS EVENING AT 7PM AT NORTHERLY ISLAND VISITORS CENTER HOPE SOME OF YOU CAN MAKE IT AND GET INVOLVED.
