WEDNESDAY APRIL 26th, COHO STILL BITING GOOD. POWERLINE AS WELL AS ROD AND REEL. STILL ON PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING. LIVE BAIT LARGE MINNOWS, CRAWLERS, SHAD STRIPS, ETC…AS WELL AS ARTIFICIAL, SPINNERS, LURES, HAIR JIGS TIPPED WITH WAX WORMS. ALSO A FEW TROUT IN THE MIX, BROWN TROUT AND RAINBOW/STEELHEAD. PERCH ARE ALSO BEING CAUGHT HERE AT MONTROSE ON THE LAKESIDE ON MINNOWS OFF OF A POWERLINE IN THE EARLY A.M. BEFORE DAYLIGHT. WAUKEGAN GOOD ALSO. IF TRYING FOR PERCH FISH TOWARD THE BOTTOM FOR COHO FISH PRETTY SHALLOW, JUST BETWEEN 2 TO 5 FEET BELOW THE SURFACE. SMALLMOUTH STILL BEING CAUGHT IN AND AROUND THE HARBORS USING THE USUAL BAITS.
