FISHING REPORT

FISHING REPORT Wednesday September 25th,
Chinook (king) salmon lead the report! It has been an active fall season so far. Of course there are those that will try and try and not get one but you have to just keep casting you will eventually get yours. There have been Coho, Steelhead, Brown Trout, Northern Pike and Sheephead all caught by casting in and around the harbors. All lures and crankbaits have been working. Every angler has there favorite colors, shapes and sizes. A couple have been caught on spawn sacs and larger roach minnows. I feel the season still has awhile to go, as the water temps drop fish should stay active.
Smallmouth action has been ok for those trying for them. No Perch to report. Lots of fish activity along the Chicago Riverwalk. Lots of different species being caught on all types of live bait, minnows, worms, crayfish, leeches etc… Get up and get out you can’t catch them from your couch. As always call for your up to the minute report we tell it as we hear it!
