FISHING REPORT
Tuesday November 5th,
First thing I need to mention is that we have been notified by the Chicago Park District that they will be working on the power here at Montrose on Wednesday November 6th from 8am to 6pm so we will be open for a short time in the morning till we lose power. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Steelhead bite is on fire. Hitting on a little bit of everything, spawn sacs, hair jigs & wax worms, minnows, night crawlers, shrimp, lures, etc… Still a few Kings and Coho on lures and spawn. Northerns and Smallmouth still being caught in and around the harbors. A couple perch were caught over the weekend around the mouth of the harbor. Water temps are in the 50’s so starting to try for Perch is not a bad idea. As always call for your up to the minute report we tell it as we hear it and remember you can’t catch them from the couch!
