FISHING REPORT

Tuesday March 18th, We opened Saturday March 15th for the 2025 season. This makes our 67th year and we thank you for that. It is truly a milestone that I’m sure was something my father never thought when he took over the lease on this shop all those years ago. Ok now for the fishing report! Weather has been up and down like a yo-yo but for the most part the Coho bite has been good. Lots of days with limits caught and the fish have been good size. There have been a few Brown Trout in the mix as well as a few Northerns. Perch still being caught south in the slip and around that area. A couple have been caught by Powerliners here at Montrose fishing for Coho. Seen reports of guys out south with boats catching Perch and Coho. Get up and get out you can’t catch them from the couch!
