READ ABOUT IT IN TODAY’S DALE BOWMAN’S SUN TIMES COLUMN. SALMON ARE SWIMMING AND JUMPING IN AND AROUND THE HARBORS WITH A FEW BEING CAUGHT STILL MOSTLY ON CRANK BAITS AND SPOONS. TROUT IN AND AROUND THE HARBORS ARE HITTING SPAWN SACS, NIGHT CRAWLERS AND MED. ROACH MINNOWS. A VERY RELIABLE SOURCE CALEED ME TODAY AND SAID THERE ARE A LOT OF PERCH AT 87th ST. & INDIANA. ONE GUY CAUGHT SOME HERE ON MINNOWS LAST WEEK BUT HES THE ONLY ONE IN THIS AREA I KNOW THAT WAS NOT FISHING FOR SALMON. WITH WATER TEMPS COMING DOWN IT DOES NOT SURPRISE ME.
