FISHING REPORT

MONDAY JULY 18th, N/E WINDS WARMED UP THE WATER AND SLOWED THE PERCH DOWN. I STILL AM GETTING A FEW REPORTS OF PERCH BEING CAUGHT HERE AND THERE BUT YOU HAVE TO LOOK FOR THEM AND WORK FOR THEM. SOFT SHELLS ON A SPINNER RUNNING DEEP, SHAD RAPS, POPPING A SLIP BOBBER WITH BAIT. SHEEPHEAD ON THE HORSESHOE WAS REALLY GOOD WITH THOSE WINDS. THEY WERE HITTING SOFT SHELLS AND POND CRAYFISH. SMALLMOUTH ACTION STILL GOOD ON AND AROUND THE HARBORS. MOSTLY ARTIFICIAL BAITS BUT YOU CAN ALSO USE SOFT SHELLS OR THE POND (CRABS) CRAYFISH. THIS COMING WEEKS WEATHER IS SHOWING BETTER WINDS HOPEFULLY THAT COOLS THE WATER TEMPS & GETS THEM STARTED AGAIN. AS ALWAYS CALL FOR YOUR UP TO THE MINUTE REPORT WE TELL IT AS WE HEAR IT! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
