FISHING REPORT

MONDAY AUGUST 15th, THE DOG DAYS OF SUMMER ARE HERE. NOT MUCH TO REPORT. WINDS HAVE BEEN OUT OF THE NORTH AND EAST FOR A WEEK NOW SO THAT HAS WARMED THE WATER FROM 50* TO 62* THAT STILL ISN’T BAD BUT…SHEEPHEAD OUT ON THE HORSESHOE DOING WELL ON SOFT SHELL OR HARD SHELL CRAYFISH. SMALLMOUTH HERE AND THERE ON THE USUAL ARTIFICIAL BAITS ALSO MED. SHINERS AND NIGHT CRAWLERS.  NO PERCH TO REPORT. ROCK BASS IN THE HARBORS. A FEW STEELHEAD IN AND AROUND THE HARBORS. THERE COULD POSSIBLY BE A KING BUT NO SOLID REPORTS AS OF YET. AS ALWAYS CALL FOR YOUR UP TO THE MINUTE REPORT WE TELL IT AS WE HEAR IT.
